MYRTLE WITTE

Mrs. Oscar Witte, 54, of route 1, Mishicot, died Monday night following a lingering illness. Funeral services will be held at 2 pm Thursday at the Zion Evangelical and United Brethren church, Mishicot. The Rev. B.A. Zimdars will officiate and burial will be in the Mishicot Public Cemetery.
She was born Myrtle Naeser at Two Creeks in 1896 and in 1923 was married to Mr. Witte. They located on the homestead farm. She was a member of the Zion Congregation and secretary of the Women's Society of World Service and Ladies Aid.
Survivors are the husband; two daughters, Mrs. Harry Zik and Joyce, both at home; two sons, Robert and Jerome at home; mother, Mrs. Johanna Naeseer of Route 1, Two Rivers; two sisters, Mrs. Roy Ihlenfeldt of Madison and Mrs. Jerry Ahrens of route 1, Two Rivers.
Friends may call at the Specht Funeral Home, Mishicot, after 10 am Wednesday. The casket will be moved to the church at 10 am Thursday.

Marriage of Oscar/Myrtle Witte
Miss Myrtle Naser, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J.C. Naser, became the bride on Wednesday afternoon of Oscar Witte, son of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Witte of Mishicot. The ceremony was performed at the Evangelical parsonage in this city, Rev. F. J. Siewert performing the ceremony in the presence of Jerry Ahrens and Miss Helena Naser, sister of the bride. After the ceremony a wedding dinner was served at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Witte to thirty relatives and friends. The couple then departed on a wedding trip. Upon their return they will make their home on the Witte farm at Mishicot which the groom conducts. They will be at home to their friends after June 27. The bride is an estimable young lady of the Town of Two Rivers and the groom is a progressive dairy farmer. The Reporter unites with their many friends in best wishes for a happy and prosperous future.
