Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Scheuer and John Weilep who came up from Milwaukee to attend the funeral of the late Mrs. John C. Scheuer at Mishicot have returned home.

Mrs. Frances(sic) Scheuer, nee Paules, widow of the late John G.
Scheuer, who
died in 1916, passed away at the family home in Mishicot Saturday, aged
76 years.
Deceased was born in Bohemia and came to America at the age of 13 with
her parents
who settled near Kewaunee. She was married in 1862 and the couple made
their home
in Mishicot. The following children survive: Joseph of Milwaukee, John
and Nicholas
of Mishicot, Mrs. Arnold Zander of Two Rivers, Mrs. Andrew Frank of
Mishicot and
Charles of Duluth, all of whom were present at the funeral.
The funeral took place from Holy Cross Catholic Church, Mishicot,
Monday, Rev.
Father Bell officiating. Among those present at the funeral from out of
town were
John Paules, a brother of the deceased of St. Francis, Otto Janod and C.W.
Lechleidner of Milwaukee, Mrs. John Irving of Chicago, Mr. and Mrs. Mat
Coller
and Mr. and Mrs. Frank Hamachek of Kewaunee and Mrs. Paulina Spurney, a
sister of
Milwaukee.
