McAlister, Dorothy May, 98, passed away Sunday, June 19, 2016 at the Power County Nursing Home in American Falls, Idaho from natural causes.

Dorothy was born on May 2, 1918 in Antlers, Oklahoma to William Calvin and Bess Helen Cox.
Dorothy was a high school graduate and worked at many different jobs during her lifetime. Dorothy attended the Church of Christ for over 60 years. She loved sewing and gardening.

Dorothy married Eric Herald McAlister on February 26, 1943 in McNary, Arizona. He passed away in
1989.

Dorothy had three sisters and two brothers who all passed away years ago.

Dorothy is survived by her son, Larry McAlister; three grandchildren, Michael Allen, Donald Earl and Lynn Marie McAlister; and three great-grandchildren, Eric, Aiden and Elly McAlister.
