Wesley Hayden “Buster” Westfall, 90, of New River Road, Hinton, Summers County, W.Va., died at 6:30 a.m., Wednesday, June 15, 2016, at Greystone Assisted Living in Beaver, Raleigh County, W.Va. He was born on Nov. 5, 1925, in Raleigh County, a son of Wesley Westfall and Julia Bragg Westfall.

He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II. Mr. Westfall, a longtime resident of the Hinton area, was a retired conductor for the C&O Railway Company in Hinton. He enjoyed farming, gardening and spending time with his family.

Mr. Westfall was preceded in death by his parents, wife June Smith Westfall and two brothers, Bill Westfall and Charles L. Westfall.

Survivors include a son, Wayne Westfall and wife Pat of Beaver; two brothers, Jack Westfall and wife JoAnn of Chester, Va., and Jim Westfall and wife Mildred of Austin, Texas; two grandchildren and two great grandchildren; and a sister-in-law, Ethel Westfall of Hinton.

Private graveside services were held at 2 p.m., Sunday, June 19, 2016, at Restwood Memorial Gardens with Jerry Smith officiating. (Find A Grave Memorial# 165390663) There was no visitation.

Pivont Funeral Home, Hinton, handled arrangements.
