Ruby Ellen McKissick of Bartlesville died Wednesday, June 15, 2016 at The Journey Home Hospice House at the age of 90. Ruby was born March 7, 1926 in Lodi, OK to Cornelius and Willie B. (Yandell) McCann. She married Vernon McKissick on March 14, 1978 in Dewey, Oklahoma. Ruby was preceded in death by her parents, Cornelius and Willie B. McCann; brother, J.C. McCann; sister, LaDean Mahan; son, Jack Bates and grandson, Billy Bates. A Graveside Memorial Service will be held 9:00 a.m., Tuesday, June 21, 2016 at the Hardaway-McCann Cemetery, Red Oak, Oklahoma with Pastor Danny Workman officiating. Interment of the cremains will follow. Arrangements entrusted to Jones Harkins Funeral Home, Wilburton, OK.
