Loretta Jean Green, 78, of Dry Branch, formerly of Dawes, died June 19, 2016, at home.
She was a retired supervisor and manager from Shoney's in Kanawha City after 37 years of service. She was a loving mother and grandmother and loved to play bingo.
She was preceded in death by husband, Oscar Woodrow Green; parents, Hershel David and Juanita Pearl Johnson Cooper; sisters, Della Walker and Barbara Coley; brother, James Cooper; great-granddaughters, Katie and Chelsea McCormick; step-grandson, Stevie Slater; and brother-in-law, Dickey Stanley.
Surviving are children, Karen Fisher of Kanawha City, Pamela (Rick) Clark of Dawes, Linda Green of Dry Branch, Terry and Tammy Green of Ohley, and Lisa (Donge) Hill of Dry Branch; brothers, Richard (Freda) Cooper of Chesapeake, David (Kim) Cooper of Teays Valley; sisters, Shirley (John Scott) Snodgrass of Belle, Brenda (Jim) Good of Gandeeville, Wanda June Stanley of Mich.; 13 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren; special friends, Nancy Jones of Crown Hill and Carol Mullins of Hansford.
Funeral will be 1 p.m. Friday June 24, at Leonard Johnson Funeral Home, Marmet with Rev. Brenda Gray officiating. Burial will follow in Mount Hope Cemetery, Dawes Mountain. Friends may call two hours prior to the service at the funeral home.
