Betty was born on April 12, 1925 to Robert Daniel and Amanda Agnes Tarrant. She lived in Springfield, Mo, until her family moved to Vancouver, Washington, where her dad worked during WW II. She meet and married John Bolden from 1949 until his death in 1953. Later she meet and married Joseph A. Scott in 1955. After the birth of her son, Phillip, she moved to Spokane where they lived with her older brother until his marriage. Betty and Phillip later moved to Seattle and finally to Everett where she lived until her death in 2010. She was loved by all who knew her.
She always got a bit unset when people would add an "e" to the end of her middle name, because "e" was use for the male version of the name and no "e" was the female version. Her birth name was " Betty Jo Tarrant"
At her request, she was buried next to her older brother Howard in Spokane.
