Janice J. Webb, 91, of Lansdale, PA, formerly of Willow Grove, PA, passed away Friday morning, August 20, 2021, at Dock Woods- Healthcare in Lansdale, PA. Born February 9, 1930 in Northampton, PA, she was the daughter of the late Harold Blank and Arlene (Bachman) Blank. She was the wife of the late Peter W. Webb who passed away October 4, 2013.
Janice was a 1947 graduate of Northampton High school, who continued her education earning a Bachelors degree in Education from Kutztown State Teachers College, in 1951. She then took a Elementary teaching position with Upper Moreland School District teaching 4th grade at the former Round Meadow Elementary School in Hatboro, PA for 30 years before retiring in 1993. During her teaching career, she earned her Master's Degree in Education from Bloomsburg College in 1987. Janice was a member of the Christ Lutheran Church, Harleysville, PA. She with her husband enjoyed traveling and cruising, and gardening. Janice spent much time and loved their second home in Fort Meyers Beach, FL, where she was an active member of the Ft. Meyers Beach Garden Club. Her greatest love was her family, and spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
She is survived by sons, Ian D. Webb and wife Marcy of Laurys Station, PA and Randal R. Webb and wife Stacey of Northampton, PA, daughter, Wendy M. wife of Daniel Freed of Harleysville, PA. Eight Grandchildren; Kyle and Fiancé Nicole, Samantha, Adam and wife Andrea, Rebecca and husband Naaman, Patrick, Zachery, Allison, and Abigail. Four Great- Grandchildren; Emma, Carson, Lincoln, and Lucas. She was predeceased by a granddaughter, Emily in 1995.
A Funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday August 28, 2021 at Schisler Funeral Home, 2119 Washington Ave. Northampton, PA. 18067. The family will receive friends from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM prior to the services. Interment will follow in Greenwood Cemetery - Allen Twsp., Northampton, PA.
