Billie was the daughter of the late William Alfred and Sallie Ann Troxell Wheeler, born November 3, 1921 in Stevenson, AL. She was a graduate of Stevenson High School, worked as a winder at Avondale Mills, and a member of Church of Christ in Bridgeport, AL.
Besides her parents, Billie was preceded in death by her husbands: William Joseph Rich and Reuben Smith Barnes; sisters: Hazel Cameron and Polly Lee.
Survivors include her nephew Billy Hugh Cameron of WI; niece Ruby Marie Armbreuster of OH; great-nephews: Joe (Dorothy) Cameron and Cecil (Ann) Cameron of WI; great-niece Carolyn Spoor of OH; caregivers: Mary (James) Smith of Bridgeport.
Visitation will be Monday, 5-9 PM CDT at Rudder Funeral Home in Stevenson, AL. The Funeral Service will be Tuesday, June 21, at 2 PM CDT in the funeral home chapel officiated by Bro. Danny Rader and Bro. Roger Comstock. Interment will be in Stevenson City Cemetery.
