Phyllis A. Dawson, age 86, of Eustis passed away on Friday, June 17, 2016. She was born April 11, 1930 in Valley City, OH and moved to Lake County in 1953 from Parma, OH. She was a retired doctor’s assistant. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Mt. Dora, and a member of the Anna Miller Circle and the Elks. She is survived by her son, Scott A. Dawson, Sr. of Tavares, FL; daughter, Linda D. Smith of Umatilla, FL; sister, Sandra Jones of Tavares, FL; 6 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a brother,Kenneth Mellert.

A Memorial Service will be held at the First United Methodist Church of Mt. Dora. Please check back for details.
