Nancy L. Tuttle, 77 of Davis Creek left this world to be with Jesus Tuesday June 14, 2016 at home peacefully, surrounded by her loving family and caretakers Connie Tuttle and Crystal Walker, following a short illness.

Nancy was a dedicated employee of Walmart for 23 years.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband Jackie Tuttle; mother, Edna Atkins; and father, William Atkins.

Survivors include her loving children, Robert Tuttle of Cross Lanes, William Tuttle of Davis Creek, Patty Means of Nitro, Connie Tuttle of Davis Creek and Joyce Hildt of Davis Creek; brothers, Guffy Atkins of Boone Co, Austin Atkins of Charleston, Ray Atkins of Miami FL; sisters, Evelyn Atkins of Miami FL, Claire Atkins of NY, Virginia Atkins Shafer of MD; nephews, Rick Shafer and Truman Barker; grandchildren, David Stowers, Crystal Walker, Sara Tuttle, Brittany Tuttle, Bill Tuttle, Stephanie Burdette, Ashley Hildt, Tiffany Tuttle, Josh Tuttle and Cindy Tuttle; great-grandchildren, Haleigh, Graceyn, Malachi, Kae'Shawn, Brooklyn, Cassius, Haiden, Wyatt, Pasley, and Mason; and her beloved lab Harley; not to mention a couple of her closet friends, Russell Rhodes and Terry Toler-Rogers and many more relatives and friends left to mourn her passing.

A service to honor the life of Nancy will be held at 1:00 PM Tuesday, June 21, 2016 at Cunningham-Parker-Johnson Funeral Home with Pastor Frank Chapman officiating. Burial will follow at Donel C. Kinnard Memorial State Veterans Cemetery, Dunbar.
