Krystal Jaye Mitchell, 30, was tragically taken from her loved ones on June 10, 2016 in San Diego, California where she was vacationing. She was born on May 21, 1986. Krystal attended Riverview Elementary, Wy'East Junior High, and Mountain View High School, all in Vancouver, Washington. She moved to Phoenix, Arizona from Vancouver, Washington to pursue an advanced career in Property Management.
Many friends and family members have come forward to share how Krystal had inspired them; many attribute their growth in faith to her influence. Krystal enjoyed traveling, the beach, singing, hiking, making new friends, and her favorite song was "Oceans" by Hillsong United. She was compassionate and generous with a heart for the homeless.
Krystal is loved by many. Her absence has created a void for those she leaves behind.
Krystal is survived by her two children, Blake (6) and Farrah (5) Bondarchuk; her mother, Josephine Wentzel; father, Guy Mitchell; sister, Leanna Mitchell; brother, Brian Mitchell; step-father, Michael Wentzel; step-brother, Charles Wentzel; step-sister, Elizabeth Wentzel; and her numerous loving aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Krystal's family and friends gathered at Evergreen Memorial Gardens for a graveside service on Thursday, June 23, 2016, followed by a reception at Turning Point Church, 709 NE 136th Avenue, Vancouver,, WAshington. A Life Celebration Memorial Service will be held on Friday, June 24, 2016, at Turning Point Church in Vancouver, Washington.
