Arlene “Kay” Huggins Coleman, age 57 and a resident of Asher, Oklahoma passed away Friday, June 17, 2016 in Ada, Oklahoma. Kay was born October 11, 1958 in Anchorage, Alaska to Bobby Huggins and Veda Mae Gillespie Huggins.

She earned a Bachelor’s degree and married Kenneth Coleman April 25, 1978 in Purcell, Oklahoma. Kay had a passion for making jewelry.

She is survived by her husband, Kenneth Coleman of the home, one son, Josh Adam Coleman and wife, Meghan of Seminole, Oklahoma, two daughters, Andrea Brantley and husband, Billy of Konawa and Susan Newman of Tulsa, Oklahoma, two brothers, Glen Huggins and wife, Susie of Konawa and Ted Huggins and wife, Susie of Konawa, one sister, Beth Woody and husband, Ray of Konawa and two grandchildren, Corey and Bryson Brantley.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Bobby and Veda Huggins.

A memorial service is scheduled for 10:00 a.m. Thursday, June 23, 2016 at Grace Community Church in Vamoosa, Oklahoma. Pastor Drew Isaacs will officiate. Cremation is under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home of Konawa, Oklahoma.
