Jerry Don Watson was born March 20, 1938 in Elsa, Texas to Raymond and Sally (Lawson) Watson. At the time of his death, he was a retired Captain of the Trustee Camp at the Ferguson Unit in Midway. He worked at the Rosharon Unit as a Lieutenant starting in 1969 and, in 1984, was moved to the Ferguson unit where he remained until his retirement in 2000. Fishing was his passion.
