Arthur Willis Cowan or William Arthur Cowan was born on Janruary 30, 1882 in lamer Arkansas. Arthur was the son of James Martin Cowan and Susan M. Hutchens. Arthur married Julia Ann Cullum in 1903 Arthur was 21 and Julia was 18. They only had one daughter Mildred Frances Cowan. Mildred was the mother of Lana Turner. Julia died in 1904 the same year that their daughter was born. Arthur died on February 12, 1938 in Los Angeles California. He might be buried in Lamar cemetery.
