Christine Wells Hart Watkins, 67, of Jeffersonville originally of Owingsville passed away early Saturday morning June 18, 2016. She was retired from Jockey and a member of the Slate Valley Christian Church. In her younger years she enjoyed quilting, but throughout her life she enjoyed gardening, planting flowers and searching for 4 leaf clovers. She was known to find 27 at one time in her brother’s front yard. She was the daughter of the late John T. Wells and Amy Purvis Wells.

Immediate Survivors include her husband Ray Watkins of Mt. Sterling; 2 sons Christopher (Crystal) Hart of Jeffersonville and Eddie (Virginia) Hart of Owingsville; 1 step son Tony Watkins and 2 step daughters Demeris Miller and Sherree Millner all of Mt. Sterling; 4 brothers Paul Lewis Wells, Clifford Brooks Wells, Bobby Wells and Gordon Wells; 5 sisters Lottie Wells Bristow, Ruth Wells Orme, Betty Wells Conyers, Lorena Faye Wells Willoughby and Blanche Wells; 2 grandchildren Tyler Hart and James Hart; 1 great grandchild; a special friend and sister-in-law Anne Wells and a special friend Delores Stephens.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in the death by 6 brothers William Franklin Wells, Billy Patterson Wells, Elza Wayne Wells, Gene Autry Wells, Scott Wells, and John T. Wells; 1 sister Elizabeth Frances Wells; and 1 grandchild Mason Hart.

Interment will be at a later time in the Russ Willoughby Cemetery in Jeffersonville.
