Patricia Josephine Silliman, 85, of Antwerp, passed away Wednesday, June 15, 2016, at CHP Defiance Area In-Patient Hospice Center.

Pat was born in Willard on December 20, 1930, a daughter of the late Corrine F. (Westrick) and Otto E. Boff.

In 1953, she married Robert Silliman, who passed away in 2015. They had five children, Michael (Christine) of Defiance, Mary Ann (Garry) Crites of Durham, N.C., Sharon of Paulding, David (Barb) of Cromwell, Ind., and Stephen of Cincinnati; siblings, Virginia Wholf of Hilliard and Elaine Baker of Castro Valley, Calif.; eight grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

She was also preceded in death by her siblings, Mary Jane Deemer and Kenny and Jerry Boff.

Pat loved camping and flower gardening, but her best moments were spent with her family. Her five children were her greatest achievement. Holiday gatherings with them gave her great joy as did her sense of humor for her family. Her faith and worshipping at St. Michael’s Catholic Church were very important to her.

Viewing is Monday from 9:45-10:15 a.m. at Dooley Funeral Home, Antwerp, where viewing is also Sunday, from 2-6 p.m., with the rosary recited at 6 p.m. Funeral Mass is at Saint Michael’s Catholic Church, Hicksville, at 11 a.m. on Monday, June 20. She will be laid to rest at Fountain Grove Cemetery, Bryan.
