Loretta (Marco) Carroll, 77, of Leechburg, passed away on Thursday, June 16, 2016, in her residence. A daughter of the late Joseph Robert "Bob" Marco and Mary (Bosin) Marco, she was born March 12, 1939, in Freeport, Armstrong County. During her career, Loretta had been employed as a secretary for Allegheny Ludlum (West Leechburg Works), Diocese of Greensburg Office of Catholic Charities, Kittanning Provision, Davey McKee Engineering of Pittsburgh, Kaverna Engineering of Pittsburgh, and the Visiting Nurses' Association of Vandergrift. She was a member of Christ the King Parish in Gilpin Township, the Leechburg Elks Lodge No. 377 Auxiliary and the Monday Evening Club. She enjoyed playing bingo, doing crossword puzzles, reading and spending time with her grandchildren. Survivors include her husband of 57 years, William T. "Bill" Carroll, of Leechburg; her three sons, Thomas W. Carroll, Robert J. Carroll (Marcia) and William C. Carroll (Angela), all of Leechburg; her daughter, Erin (Carroll) Gruber, at home; six grandchildren, Brittany (Carroll) Brahm, Justin Beattie, Marissa Jones, Keira Jones, Christian Hack and Margaret Hack; her two brothers, Eugene Marco (Roberta), of West Leechburg, and Donald Marco (Patricia), of Leechburg; and her mother-in-law, Phyllis (Debernardi) Carroll, of Sharon. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her father-in-law, Thomas H. Carroll, on March 4, 1998.
