Louis F. Bricco, 79, of 517 Waldo Blvd., Manitowoc, died Sunday, June 5, at Holy Family Hospital, Manitowoc.
A memorial Mass will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at Holy Innocents Catholic Church, Manitowoc. The Rev. Daniel Felton will officiate and cremation will have taken
place.
Mr. Bricco was born Sept. 22, 1903, at Elton, Wis., son of the late Louis and Marietta Smith Bricco. He attended school in White Lake, Wisconsin, area and married Adelade Sell Nov. 4, 1948, at Yuma, Ariz.
He had been employed at Yawkey Bissel Lumber Company in White Lake from 1935 to 1942, then entered the United States Navy January 1942, and was discharged October 1945. He was an electrical engineer. He re-entered the service in 1948 in the U.S. Naval Receiving Station, San Diego, Calif., and was discharged in 1952 during the Korean Conflict. Following his navy service he was employed in the District Public Works Office in Great Lakes, Ill., retiring in 1964. He was a member of Holy Innocents Catholic Church, Fraternal Order of Eagles 244 of San Diego and Veterans of Foreign Wars 659 of Manitowoc.
Surviving is his wife, Adelade. A brother preceded him in death.
There will be no Tuesday evening visitation. Jens Funeral Home and Crematory, Manitowoc, is handling funeral arrangements.
