Mr. Corson went with his parents from Illinois to Kansas in 1898. In 1908 he married Erma Bottorf and they settled at Sublette, Kansas in 1921. He was at various times Haskell County Township assessor, a member of the Town Council and the city clerk.

He was survived by a daughter, Mrs. William E. Bonnelle of Coupeville; a son, Lloyd N. Corson of Denver, Colorado; a brother, J. L. Corson of Protection, Kansas; and two sisters, Mrs. Ruth Young and Mrs. Mabel Yadon, both of Haviland, Kansas. His wife Erma died in 1945.
