Historically, Marit Pedersdatter (Lundemo) was born on 13 January 1820 at the Lundemo farm in Horg (parish), Støren (municipality), Sør-Trøndelag (county), Norway. (But in 1964 [eighty-two years after Marit's death], Horg was merged into the municipality of Melhus.) Marit was christened on 23 January 1820. Her parents were Peder Throndsen (Lundemo) and Randi Joensdatter. Marit married 24 June 1856 to Ulrik Fredrik Fredriksen Beichmann (Trøen), who was 10 years & 11 months younger than Marit. Their 2 sons, Fredrik Christian Ulriksen Beichmann (aka Fredrik Sæterbø) & Peder Ulriksen Beichmann (aka Peter Setterbo) were both born at the Trøen farm in Innset, Kvikne, Hedmark, Norway. About 1862, the family moved to the Sæterbø farm in Åsskard (Aasgård}, Stangvik, Surnadal, Møre og Romsdal, Norway. Marit died there on 16 August 1882 and was buried 19 August 1882.
