Roy Lee West, age 79 of Lithia Springs, GA passed away, Friday, June 17, 2016. He was born on June 14, 1937 in Loudon, TN. The son of the late Arthur West and Jessie Smallen West. He retired with 30 years of service from Bellsouth as a Service Technician. Roy loved his church and was a member of Clearview Baptist Church in Douglasville, GA. He enjoyed bass fishing, woodworking and spending time with his family.
He was survived by his wife of 57 years, Geraldine McNabb West; son: Mark Andrew West and wife, Deion; son: David Brian West and wife, Laura; grandchildren: Carrie West, Caitlin West Colbert, Colleen West, Heather West and Courtney Pope; one great grandchild; brother: Joe West; sister: Mary Estes; brother: Carl West and wife, Carol; sister: Ann Gardner and husband, Mike; four nieces and three nephews.
Funeral Services will be held, Tuesday, June 21, 2016 at 11:00 AM at Hightower’s Memorial Chapel with Dr. Rick Eaves and Dr. Neal Beard officiating. Interment will follow at Mozley Memorial Gardens with military honors.
