STEVEN EDWARD LITTLE

Steven Little, 49, of Pontiac, MO passed away on June 14, 2016 in Olney, TX. He was born May 5, 1967 in Fort Benning, GA son of James Edward and Nikki Lynne (Dudley) Little.

Steven grew up in Sapulpa, OK where he rode race horses up till graduating high school. He eventually became Chief of Police of Kiefer, OK. After meeting his wife and moving to Missouri he became active in the fire service. Steve became a Paramedic working for Cox Health stationed in Ava, MO. He taught first responder CERT, and EMT school in Douglas County. Steven switched careers and became a Professional Truck Driver.

He is preceded in death by his father James Edward Little; paternal grandparents Howard and Grace Little and maternal grandparents Nick and Nina Dudley. He is survived by his wife Tami Little of the home in Pontiac, MO; daughters Brandilyn Little, Stephani Little and Jessika Van Meter all of Oklahoma, and Megan Little of Pontiac, MO; seven grandchildren; his mother Lynne Little of Pontiac; one brother David Little; niece Audrey Little and nephew Brian Little all of Oklahoma.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, June 21, 2016 in the Clinkingbeard Funeral Home chapel, Gainesville, MO with Buddy Boyd and Bruce DeWeese officiating. Burial will follow in the Pontiac Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday evening, June 20th from 6-7 p.m. at the funeral home. The family asks that memorial contributions be made to The Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson’s Research, PO Box 4777, New York, NY 10163-4777. Arrangements are by Clinkingbeard Funeral Home, Gainesville, MO.
