FISHER – LeRoy W., 88 of Johnstown, passed away May 15, 2016 at home. Born December 10, 1927 in Johnstown, son of William and Jennie (Pizer) Fisher. Preceded in death by parents, wife Mary M. ( Wisner) Fisher, and numerous brothers and sisters. Survived by loving children, Nellie married to Elwood Clark, Helen Fisher, and special friend Ken Daniels, James Fisher, married to the former Mary Lou, McKnight, Brenda, married to Bryan Mahoney. Grandchildren, Patty, married to Eric Fairbanks, Lisa, married to Jason Williams, Donna, married to Kevin Farren, Christopher Fisher and wife Rebecca, Victoria Selders, Matthew Fisher. Great-grandchildren, Jacob and Rachel Fairbanks, Jeremy and Abby Williams, Alana Farren, Kimberly, Tucker, and Ezekiel Fisher, Brock and Emily Fisher. Also sisters, Sally Feathers, Mary Jane Stephens. LeRoy was a member of Beulah United Methodist Church. He retired after 44 years, service with SCM Metals. He was an artist who passed up the chance to go to art school in New York City, because he had a family. He loved to travel. LeRoy’s motto was ' When in doubt, add more glitter.' Friends will be received from 2 -4 and 6-8Pm Tuesday at Geisel Funeral Home Johnstown, where funeral service will be held 2Pm Wednesday, Rev. David Stains officiating. Interment Forest Lawn Cemetery.
