Donna Bosard, a long-time resident of the Daytona Beach area, went to be with the Lord Sunday the 12th of June after a long illness.
Born in 1939 in (South Bend) Mishawaka, IN, Donna relocated to the Daytona Beach area in 1975 with her 4 children. She worked as a Reserve Police Officer with the Daytona Beach Police Department for many years and retired as a Sergeant with the Florida State Department of Corrections.
Donna loved travelling and her family immensely. She is preceded in death by her son, Robert Lynn Cates. Donna is survived by her her daughters Pauline (Duane) Sanders, Debbie (Gustavo) Martinez, and Darlene (Jim) Shea, grandchildren Brandi, Ken, Jennifer, Jackie, James, Matthew, and Erik and 8 great grandchildren
Services will be held on Saturday, June 18th at Lohman Funeral Homes in Ormond Beach, FL. The family will hold visitation from 2-4 pm and the service will be held at 4 pm. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Stuart F. Meyer Hospice House, 150 Memorial Medical Parkway, Palm Coast, FL 32164 in Donna’s name.
