Misty Rose Harris McDonald, 84 of Doyle, Tennessee passed from this life on Thursday June 16, 2016 at NHC of Sparta.
Misty was born July 5, 1931 in White County, Tennessee to the late William 'Lee' Harris and Annie Daniels Harris. She was a retired Post Master from the Spencer Post Office and also worked for years at the Doyle Post Office.
She was a faithful member of the Church of Christ. Misty is also preceded in death by her husband Ernest Gordon 'Nappy' McDonald; two brothers and three sisters.
Her survivors include her son
Phil Gordon McDonald and wife Norma;
Grandchildren - Ruskin Jade McDonald, Porshe McDonald (Joseph) Thomas, and
Tucker G. McDonald (of Putnam County).
Great-grandson: Kasen Dean Thomas
Sister - Bertye Yates
Several nieces, nephews, and cousins also survive.
The Services will be conducted on Monday, June 20, 2016 from the Chapel of Hunter Funeral Home with burial in Anderson Cemetery, alongside her beloved husband. Gene Brock, Elwin Mahan and Bob Ally will officiate.
