Dear friends and family -
My darling, precious daughter Presley died yesterday, June 16, in Dallas. The cause of death was alcohol poisoning/overdose, but the reason, which I cannot begin to explain, is profoundly more sad, complex and heartbreaking.
Pres will be buried in Davis Cemetery near Greer's Ferry, Arkansas, next to her brother Jordan who died in 2001. Presley and Jordan were born on the same day exactly ten years apart. I hope, with all my heart, they are somehow together now.

I want to thank everyone for the kind words, thoughts and prayers, and for holding me, my family and my Pres in your hearts. Presley was buried Friday in a pretty little cemetery near Greer's Ferry Lake, Arkansas, next to her beloved older brother - her "bubba". Thank you all so very much for your kindness, your generosity, and your friendship.

someday to another world full of crystal clouds
