Resident of Pleasanton
Stacey Lynn Wood, loving and devoted wife, sister, and daughter passed away December 13, 2012. While she left us early in life, she was blessed with friends, relatives, and colleagues, who remained a source of strength in the last year of her life.
A skilled equestrian and avid animal lover, Stacey enjoyed the outdoors. Among her many beloved animals are her two Akitas, Koko and Jilly Bean, and her prized Foxtrotters, Dubonet and Punkin Pie. She will be remembered for her beautiful smile, engaging laugh, and fun-loving spirit which touched all that she met.
She was employed by KB Home for the past nine years where she developed close friendships with colleagues.
Stacey leaves to cherish her memory, her loving husband of 17 years, Todd, her sisters Elizabeth and Melissa, her father, Raymond, and many loving friends. She is predeceased by her mother, Carol Ann Oliva.
The family would like to thank the staff of UCSF for their care of Stacey over the last year.
A vigil celebrating her life will be held from 5 p.m and 8 p.m. with a rosary at 6 p.m., Wednesday, December 19, 2012 at Graham Hitch Mortuary, 4167 First St., Pleasanton. Donations may be sent to the Leukemia Lymphoma Society.
