Peggy Stafford Lambert, 75, was taken by the angels to reside with her Lord in heaven on June 11, 2016. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m., Friday, June 17, at Johnson's Funeral Home. Funeral services will be at 1 p.m., Saturday, June 18, in the funeral home chapel. Burial service will immediately follow in Lawnhaven Memorial Gardens.

Peggy was born in Tom Green County, Texas, to the late Willie Emmett and Augusta Lauretta Skiles Stafford. She graduated from Lakeview High School and married Ron Lambert on May 29, 1959. Peggy was a military wife who had lived and traveled across several countries. She was a beautiful lady who loved to bring laughter in any situation, and had a gift of bringing joy to everyone around her.

Survivors include her husband of 54 years, Ron; her children: Dan Lambert, Chris Lambert, Donna Corker, of St. Louis, Missouri, and Judy (Mo) Jamison; nine grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; sister, Diana Wood; other relatives and many friends. D22
