Susan Marie Mann Potter passed away from ALS at her home in Surprise, Arizona, on January 5, 2016, at the age of 75. Susan was born on March 15, 1940, in Chicago, Illinois, to Harriet Elizabeth Breckenridge and William Lawrence Pringle. She was raised in Chicago, Illinois, and Kansas City, Missouri, and graduated from Southwest High School in 1958. Susan attended the University of Missouri and then moved to Los Angeles, California, where she was employed in the clothing industry as a model, salesperson and owner of a company that manufactured clothing. She married James Mann in December 1968 and had a long and happy marriage to him until his death in March 1987. Jimmy was a successful contractor and they worked together over the years and spent time traveling the world. She married Richard Potter in May 2010 and was with him until her death. She is survived by her husband, her sisters, Judith Dellett (Fred), twin, Sara Meyer and Mary Pringle and many nieces, nephews and grandnieces and grandnephews. She was loved and will be truly missed. The funeral will be held at Good Shepherd Cemetery in Los Angeles, California, at a later date. In lieu of customary remembrances, contributions in the memory of Susan may be made to the ALS Association or Hospice.
