She was born in Murray County on Sept. 14, 1923, daughter of the late Charlie and Lou Fox Brackett. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Lee Sanford Anderson, in 1967.
During her lifetime, Mrs. Anderson was employed by Dalton Chair Factory, Chitwood Rugs and Pinion Rugs for 35 years. She had been a member of Sugar Valley Church of God for 39 years.
Survivors include a sister, Barbara Burkhalter of Calhoun; a favorite niece, Sherry Little; a favorite great-niece, Hayleigh Born; and several other nieces and nephews.
Services to celebrate the life of Mrs. Ollie Brackett Anderson will be Saturday at 2 p.m. from the chapel of Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home with Pastor Dwaine Shadix officiating.
Burial will be in Sardis Cemetery. Pallbearers serving are Bobby Little, Tony Little, Jeremy Born, Andrew Ogle, Kevin Hollis and Lonnie Walker.
