Clyde (C. J.) Bailey
July 23, 1933 - June 15, 2016
Clyde Eugene (C. J.) Bailey, Jr., 82, of Princeton passed away peacefully on Wednesday, June 15, 2016 at Princeton Community Hospital with his family by his side. Clyde was born on July 23, 1933 in Rock, WV and was a son of the late Clyde, Sr. and Wilma Sparks Bailey.
He was retired after working 43 years at Cole’s, Purity and Flowers Baking Company. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, racing and spending time with his family. He was a graduate of Princeton Senior High School. Clyde was a faithful member of Princeton Church of Christ. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather and friend.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Betty Six Bailey and two brothers, Fred D. Bailey, Sr. and Kenneth Proffit.
Survivors include one son, Rodney Bailey and wife Vickie of Princeton; two daughters, Donna Arnold and husband Steve of Princeton and Missy Barker and husband Bo of Princeton; six grandchildren, Jeffery Bailey, Erin Bailey and husband Chad, Chad Arnold, Jaime Arnold, Zackery Barker and Kaleigh Barker and four great grandchildren, Raegan Bailey, Rory Bailey, Dayton Arnold and Ivy Arnold.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, June 18, 2016 at the Rowland H. Bailey Funeral Chapel with Preacher Conway Hutton officiating. Private interment will take place at Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Princeton.
