Angela Josephine Turner, 93, of Mansfield, Ohio, passed away Thursday, June 16, 2016, in Bellville. She was born September 5, 1922, in Coshocton, Ohio, to the late John W. and Rosa M. (Meglich) Walker.

She graduated from Coshocton High School in 1940 and was employed as an Executive Secretary at Westinghouse Corp. for many years. Angela loved music, especially Big Band, and not only enjoyed listening but was quite a dancer as well. Angela was a member of St. Peter’s Catholic Church and loved God completely. She set a shining example of unconditional love and servitude. Angela put others needs and desires before her own and was a wonderful listener. Her legacy of love and compassion will live on in the lives of everyone she knew. She will never be forgotten.

Her home was immaculate inside and out, and her love of gardening was evident to everyone. In her free time, she enjoyed sewing, crocheting, and baking. On July 3, 1947, she married William “Bill” F. Turner and they shared 67 glorious years together until his death on November 21, 2014. Above all, her family was most important to Angela, and she treasured the time spent with each and every one of them.

Angela is survived by her children, William “Bill” F. Turner Jr. (fiancée, Laurie Finley) of Bellville and Dianne (Jim) Kirkman of Annandale, VA; seven grandchildren, Holly Gore (Eric) Jenkins of Chester, VA, Marian Gore (Aaron) Seliquini of Cornwall-on-Hudson, NY, Carrie Gore of Salisbury, MD, Emily Turner (Jeff) Sell of Findlay, OH, Jesse R. Turner of Bellville, Juliana Turner (Len) Swihart of San Diego, CA and Corrie Turner (Chris) Slight of Durham, CT; two step grandchildren, John (Paige) Kirkman of Lafayette, CO, and Katherine Kirkman (Nathan) Hackett of Lovettsville, VA. She is also survived by sixteen great-grandchildren; six step great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
