Billy Gene Chrisman of Waldron, Arkansas went to be with his Lord and Savior, Tuesday, June 14, 2016 surrounded by his family at the age of 78. Billy was born to the late Henry and Lydia (Wagner) Chrisman on April 16, 1938 in the Lamb Community. He was a member of the Union Hill Freewill Baptist Church where he served as a Deacon and past Superintendent.

Billy was a retired logger and farmer. He married the love of his life on May 6, 1958 at Union Hill. He loved hunting and fishing when his health permitted. He loved taking care of his 20 beehives and selling his honey.

Billy leaves behind to cherish his memory, his wife of 58 years, one son, one daughter, nine grandchildren, nineteen great grandchildren, one brother, one sister, two sister in laws, and one aunt. Billy will be missed by all that knew him and the many whose lives he impacted including a host of extended family, friends, neighbors and loved ones.

Billy was preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Lydia Chrisman, mother and father in law, Willo and Ules Owens, and two brothers, Eugene Chrisman and Bobby Chrisman.

Billy's life celebration will be at 10:00 a.m. Friday, June 17, 2016 at the Union Hill Baptist Church in Union Hill, Arkansas with Rev. Sonny Hall, Rev. Zack Hale and Rev. Mark King officiating. Interment will follow in the Union Hill Cemetery. Arrangements are being entrusted to the Heritage Memorial Funeral Home in Waldron, Arkansas.

Billy's visitation will be Thursday, June 16, 2016 from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the Heritage Memorial Funeral Home where Billy's family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m.
