Ammons, Kenneth Ray, age 84, of Knoxville, passed away Wednesday, June 15, 2016. He was a member of Westhaven Baptist Church where he served as a deacon and was a faithful servant of the Lord. He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force, former employee of Pet Dairy, Flavorich, News Sentinel, and Wells Fargo. Preceded in death by wife of 49 years, Mary McGinley Ammons, second wife of 10 years, Betty Ann Ammons; parents, Frank and Rosa Ammons. Survived by children, Joel Ammons and wife Sherry, Kenneth Ammons, Ruth Ann Baker, Joe Baker and wife Pam; grandchildren, Zachary Ammons, Nicholas Ammons, Katelyn Ammons, Ashley Baker, Cory Baker and wife Emily, Ben Baker, Chris Cullom, Tyler Baker, and Tosha Baker. The family will receive friends from 5 – 7 pm Friday with the funeral to follow at 7 pm with Joel Ammons officiating at Berry Lynnhurst Funeral Home, 2300 Adair Dr. Music provided by David McGill, Brian Yow, and Ashley Baker.
