in Denver City, Texas to Howard
"Slim" Strawn and Evelyn Elaine
(Wimberley) Strawn.
Debra attended Lovington Schools
and was a resident of Lovington,
New Mexico most of her life.
Debra married Roger Z. Chambers
October 28, 1972 in Lovington,
New Mexico.
Debra was preceded in death
by her mother Evelyn Elaine
(Wimberley) Strawn on October
2, 1975.
Debra was an amazing, loving
and caring mother, sister,
daughter and friend.
Debra was survived by; husband,
Roger Chambers of the home, three
daughters: Stacee Rene Chambers,
Stephanie Gay Chambers and
Jennifer Lynn Chambers, all of the
home. Her father, Howard "Slim"
Strawn of Lovington, New Mexico,
two brothers; Joe Strawn and Charles
Strawn, both of Lovington and a sister
Gay Lynn (Strawn) DeVore of Reno,
Nevada.
Funeral services for Mrs. Chambers
were held February 15, 1983 in the
Smith-Rogers Chapel, Lovington,
New Mexico, with Reverend Ron
Coones, pastor of Missionary
Baptist Church officiating.
Interment followed in the Lovington
Cemetery with the following friends
serving as casket bearers; Kermit
Jones, Frank Kennemer, Steve
Lane, Don Weathers, Jesse Cruz
and Felipe Navarrette.
