Born August 31, 1944 in Leonardtown, MD, he was the son of Amy McGee Higgs of Leonardtown, MD and the late John Elbert Dorsey, Sr. Mr. Dorsey was a foreman for the Penn Line Company.
He is survived by a son, Scott and his wife Jeannie of Hollywood, MD, a grandson, Jeff and a granddaughter Megan of Hollywood, MD, a brother, Ronnie Dorsey of Virginia, a sister, Agnes V. Morgan of Mississippi and a dear friend, Marie Dowling.
