She was a native of Meridian, Miss., a resident of Glynn County for 53 years and a former resident of Jacksonville, Fla. She was a member of Christ Church, Frederica, a former member of Cassina Garden Club and Amity Club. She was the widow of Edward C. Bruce.
SURVIVORS: a son, Edward C. Bruce III of Las Vegas; two daughters, Betty Fendig and Beverly Burns, both of St. Simons Island; a sister, Virginia Porter of Naples, Fla.; a brother, Newton Baldwin of Jacksonville; eight grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
MEMORIAL SERVICE: 11 a.m. Tuesday at Christ Church, Frederica.
