He is survived by wife, 6 sons: Johnnie, Edward, Leopoldo, Michael, Alfonzo and Levene; 4 daughters: Mrs. Helen Wilcox; Mrs. Lillie Zurich; Miss Rosa and Miss Nita Tixier; and his sister, Mrs. Mary T. Gonzales, Los Angeles, CA.

He was buried on April 14, 1930 in Bueyeros Cemetery, Bueyeros, Harding, NM. On July 26, 1947, his remains were disinterred from Bueyeros Cemetery and buried in Clayton Memorial Cemetery, Clayton, Union, NM.
