DAVENPORT -- Memorial services for Beverly J. Barnes, formerly of Davenport, will be 11 a.m. Friday at Pine Hill Cemetery, Davenport.
Miss Barnes died June 22, 2001, in Great Falls, Mont., of diabetes and pneumonia. She worked behind the candy counter at Woolworths in Davenport until 1962 and then worked at the Army Air Force Exchange Service across the United States in Montana, Arizona, California and Washington state.
She was born July 20, 1932, in Davenport. Memorials may be made to Diabetes Association. Survivors include a sister, Katherine Lewis, Great Falls; and a niece and four nephews and 15 grandnieces and grandnephews, all of Montana.
