Rena Gene Moore was born February 11, 1964 in Cheyenne, Oklahoma to Hazel Ann and Johnny Wayne Moore. She passed away February 17, 2012 at Cheyenne, Oklahoma at the age of 48 years and 6 days.
Rena grew up in Cheynne where she attended school. She later attended a culinary arts school and Carl Albert State College. She lived at Hardesty and Wister, Oklahoma before moving back to Cheyenne to make her home in 2008. Rena had been working at Zoe's Restaurant in Cheyenne since she returned. She had attended the Croton Creek Cowboy Church.
She was preceded in death by her father, 1 son, Russell Wayne (Moore) Potts.
She is survived by 2 sons, Harrison Wayne Johnson and wife, Krystal, Wister, OK, Austin Wayne Johnson, Wister, OK; her mother Hazel Moore, Cheyenne, OK; 1 sister, Cindy Yowell and husband, Kevin, Reydon, OK; 2 grandchildren, Braxton and Lexis Johnson, Wister, OK; fiance', Tim Whipkey, Cheyenne, OK; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Graveside memorial services will be held, Saturday, February 25, 2012 at 2:00 P.M. at the Cheyenne Cemetery with Terry Thompson officiating. Services are under the direction of Rose Chapel Funeral Services, Cheyenne.
