Thelma Barton Dunsmore McClure, age 90, of Neola, passed away on Monday, June 13, 2016 at the Uintah Basin Rehabilitation Center and Sr. Villa.
Thelma was born January 29, 1926 in Manti to Stephen C. and Ethel Alvey Barton. She married Robert Earl Dunsmore, they later divorced. She then married Lynn Frank McClure on January 23, 1960. He died March 21, 2010.
Thelma worked as an examiner at the Department of Motor Vehicles for over 30 years. She enjoyed her occupation and met many people through the years. She loved the outdoors, horses and her cats. She liked to garden and work in her yard.
She is survived by her children, Bob (Tana) Dunsmore, Iona “Onie” (Ken) Ross, all of Roosevelt; Steven (Paula) Dunsmore, Bluebell; Dannie (Carma) Dunsmore, Silver Springs, NV; step-children, Trudy Boren, Vernal; Wendel McClure, Grantsville; Darla (Jack) Dotter, Vernal; 9 grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren and a few great-great grandchildren, and one sister Helen Helvey, Winston, OR.
She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, Lynn, 1 step son, 3 grandchildren 1 great grandson and her siblings.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, May 18, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. at the Hullinger Mortuary. A viewing will be held 1 hour prior to the service.
