Travis Paul Miller, was born December 24, 1976 in Baytown, Texas, to Freda Miller and Paul Edward Miller III. Travis left this earthly realm peacefully, on June 9, 2016. He was married to Lindsey Knight Miller for 9 years, and shared one child, Sara Miller, born to them through love.
He had a love, dedication, and protection of his family that was fierce. No greater gift was given to him than his daughter Sara. There was no sacrifice too great, to insure the well being of his family. Their mutual love for each other was limitless, and unconditional.

He taught his daughter Sara, every life lesson he possible could, to prepare her in her life. They were put simply, best buddies. His love of life was for the simple things and a peaceful existence, yet lived life to the fullest, with no regrets. The stories he loved to tell were priceless, and he was always joking and making people laugh. He craved a simple and uncomplicated life, and lived his life accordingly. Travis had an extraordinary thirst for knowledge. Reading bound books was a great passion of his. His hobbies were those that kept his mind sharp, and occupied. On the days

Travis worked from home, or days off, you would always find him at his daughter's school, having lunch with her. He also volunteered for everything he could at Sara's school. He loved making things with his hands, and spent many hours sharing, and enjoying those hobbies together with his daughter. He loved nature with everything that entailed; from the tiniest living thing, to the most grand. One of his favorite places to go, was the Frio River in Texas. After attending Sam Houston State University in Huntsville, Texas, Travis graduated with a degree in Criminal Justice, with a minor in Psychology.

During his time in college, he was a member of the Sigma Tau Gamma-Delta Nu Fraternity. One of his jobs while attending college was working at a Juvenile Correction Facility in Huntsville, overseeing juveniles detained there. After graduating from college, Travis worked at Lockheed Martin in Webster, Texas. During the last 14 years, Travis worked at University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, Texas. He was a Software Systems Specialist II, working in part, with the Criminal Department of Justice, where his dedication to this job was tireless. His accomplishments, including being an author and ordained minister, were many.

Travis has now joined those who have preceded him in death. His father, Paul Edward Miller III; his maternal grandparents, Clyde and Estelle Harding, and paternal grandmother, Beverly Miller. His cousin, Keith Gray; and cousin by marriage, John Michael Byrd. Additionally, he is preceded in death by his sister in law, Kelly Knight Harold.

He is survived by his wife Lindsey Miller, and his daughter Sara Miller. His mother Freda Miller Jackson, and husband Bill Jackson. Sister Melissa Jackson Matias, and husband James Matias. Brother Kevin Jackson, and wife Stacey Jackson.
