Bertha Wright, 88, of Kent, died Wednesday, June 1, 2016 at her home.
She was born December 5, 1927 in Columbia, SC to Willie and Maggie (Brown) Williams.
She is survived by sons, Willie J. Wright of Kent, Bertram Wright Jr. of Kent and Ricky Wright of Ravenna; daughters, Merian Wright of Brimfield and Alvira Wright of Kent; thirteen grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; six great great grandchildren; three great great great grandchildren; brothers, Allen McCoy of Jacksonville, FL; sisters, Eleanor McCoy of Miami, FL and Shirley Robinson of Eastover, SC; uncle, Ned McCoy.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Bertram Wright Sr.; brothers, Jackie Robinson and Jamil Rashad.
Funeral services will be held 12:00 PM Saturday, June 04 at Bissler & Sons Funeral Home And Crematory with Pastor Melanie McNeil officiating, where calling hours will be held from 11 AM until the time of service.
Burial will be held at Standing Rock Cemetery.
