Barbara Annette Davis Humbert, of Wynne, Arkansas passed away on Tuesday, June 14, 2016 at the age of seventy-five. She was born, October 6, 1940, in Wynne, Arkansas, the daughter of John Jefferson and Audie Merle Strickland Davis.
Barbara was a member of the Calvary Fellowship Church in Wynne. She enjoyed attending church and prayer meetings but her passion was sharing the love of God with those she was around. Barbara was a wonderful cook and enjoyed cooking for her family and friends. She had a kind and loving heart and longed for the day she would be with her precious husband again.
She was preceded in death by her husband: James Kenneth Humbert, Sr., three brothers: Macon, Harlan, and Gaylon Davis, two sisters: Merle Fowler, and Loodie Lawson.
Mrs. Humbert is survived by two sons: Shane Humbert and wife Linda of West Virginia, Ken Humbert and wife Denise of Harrisburg, Arkansas, three daughters: Vonice Humbert of West Memphis, Arkansas, Beverly Steele and husband Rob of Cherry Valley, Arkansas, Chiquita Briscoe and husband Ashley of Sherwood, Arkansas, one brother: Tom Davis, one sister: Jenny Harris, seventeen grandchildren, fourteen great grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild.
Funeral services for Mrs. Humbert will be at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, June 18, 2016 Thompson-Wilson Wynne Funeral Home, with interment following at 3:00 p.m. in Old Austin Cemetery in Ward, Arkansas.
