Mrs. McCormick was born September 12, 1972, in Bennettsville, SC, a daughter of Margaret P. Douglas Goodwin and the late JW Douglas.
She was a loving wife, mother, and sister. She was a graduate of Bennettsville High School and of Chesterfield Tech with an associate’s degree in Business. She was previously employed at Wachovia. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Bennettsville and more recently was a member of United Christian Outreach.
She was survived by her husband; a daughter, Bethany Leigh McCormick; a son, Thomas Seth McCormick; four sisters, Dianne Thompson of Camden, SC, Brenda (David) Rogers of Blenheim, SC, Betty (George) Boulter of Fort Mill, SC, Mary Harris of Socastee, SC; a brother, Ronnie (Lisa) Douglas of Florence, SC; and several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her father; and her grandparents, Willis and Lillian Caulk and Neal and Sarah Douglas.
Funeral services were Thursday, June 16, 2016, in United Christian Outreach, 1414 Gilbert Street. The Rev. Tim Crabtree and the Rev. Mitch Anderson officiated Burial, directed by Graham Funeral Home, followed in Pennyroyal Memorial Gardens.
