Lillie was employed as a housekeeper at the Howard Johnson Hotel. She will be remembered for her love of cooking, old TV shows, and watching her favorite film star, Chuck Norris. She also enjoyed spending quality time with her family.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory, loving daughter Sharon Stallings of Waterbury; grandsons Eric Johnson and Devin Stallings; a special niece, Catherine "Lois" Hampton; she was a special mother to Launer and Kiley Johnson; and a host of relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her husband, Herman Stallings.
A celebration of her life will take place Wednesday, June 15, 2016, 11 a.m. at Zion Baptist Church, 137 Pearl St., Waterbury, CT 06705, with callings hours Wednesday at the church from 9 to 11 a.m. Interment will take place at New Pine Grove Cemetery, Waterbury, CT.
