Funeral services will be at 4 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 14, 2014, at Glencoe-Hokes Bluff Chapel for Vickie Louise Garrett Street, 59, of Hokes Bluff, who died October 10, 2014. The Rev. Ross Bagwell will officiate. Glencoe-Hokes Bluff Funeral Home & Cemetery is in charge.
Vickie was a loving mother, native of Texas from Odessa, accomplished pianist who delighted in teaching piano and music theory. She was a member of St. James Catholic Church, enjoyed and sometimes organized community functions.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Dorothy Louise Williams Garrett and E.D. Garrett Sr.
She is survived by her children, Kayti Currington Pearce, Christine (Johnny) Cusmir, Kylene (Kyle) Gross, Ian Garrett Street and Elizabeth Anne Street; granddaughter, Adriana Chloe Gilliland; husband, William Cosby Street Jr.; special friend and business partner, John Gerath.
Special thanks to Northside Health & Rehab Personnel and Gadsden Regional Medical Center.
Family will receive friends from 3 to 4 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
