Mr. Harold William “Bud” Briley, age 91 of Portland, TN, passed away Saturday, June 11, 2016 at The Bridge at Highland Nursing Home in Portland, TN. Mr. Briley was born October 29, 1924 in Portland, TN, the son of the late Albert F. and Eava P Suttle Briley.
Mr. Briley is survived by a brother, Bill Briley of Indianapolis, IN. as well as several nieces and nephews.
Along with his parents, Mr. Briley was preceded in death by two brothers, Charlie F. and and J.T. Briley and a sister, Margaret Carver.
Funeral services are scheduled for 1:00 PM Wednesday, June 15, 2016 at Gilbert Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Old Halltown Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM Tuesday and from 9:00 AM until service time Wednesday at Gilbert Funeral Home.
