John R. Laub, beloved husband, father, grandpa, great grandpa and brother, age 79 of Lindstrom, went to his eternal home surrounded by his family March 20, 2009.
John was born September 17, 1929 in Minneapolis to parents John G. Laub and Renata (Luebker) Laub.
He attended Concordia High School and Jr. College from 1947-1953.
John married Mary Lou Miller in St. Paul on May 16, 1953.
They raised three children, lived in St. Paul were he worked as a salesmen for Fremont Industries. In 1980 they moved to Lindstrom, he became a member of the Lions and was part of the Trinity Choir. He enjoyed fishing, gardening, reading, traveling and his dogs. He loved spending time with wife Mary and his children and grandchildren.
John is preceded in death by parents John G. and Renata Laub, brothers Lyman Laub & Douglas Laub and sister-in-law Nikki Laub.
He is survived by loving wife of 55 years Mary, son John A. (Patty), daughters Renata (Jack) Swanson and Denise (Paul) Atkinson, 15 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren, brother Daryl Laub and many brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews.
Memorial Services were Monday, March 23 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Lindstrom.
